During the last several days as schools and restaurants were closed across the United States in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, countless jewelry designers switched gears to help charitable causes. Scores of designers and a few independent jewelry boutiques (including Deborah Pagani) mobilized behind the No Kid Hungry charity.
Those involved in the effort are donating anywhere from 20% to 50% of the proceeds from online sales to the national organization that has plans to help feed millions of children losing the healthy meals they depend on at school. No Kid Hungry will be providing emergency grants to food banks and local community groups and diverting resources to feed kids in the hardest-hit communities.
