I have dull, frizzy, damaged hair from years of coloring and using heat tools. My hair is also extremely fine. It has always been impossible for me to find a product that really hydrates without making it look greasy and flat. I usually have to sacrifice volume for my hair to look shiny and it just ends up greasy in a couple hours or I go without product if I’m looking to do a style with body but then I’m left with messy frizz. The Essential Nectar is a product like nothing I ever tried before. It gave my hair results that I didn’t even know I could expect from a hair serum. After my first use, my hair was baby soft, not oily, and had movement I didn’t think my hair was capable of. It’s only gotten better from there as I use it consistently. My ends are looking less and less stringy, and the shine it gives me is stunning. The formula is featherlight, so you don’t get the greasy film on your hands or your hair and there’s not buildup in between washes. And the smell…OMG. HEAVENLY! It’s sweet but not overbearing, sultry but not intrusive, the notes give an impression of an expensive perfume that I’d save for only my most special events because I want the bottle to last as long as possible but now my hair gets to smell like this everyday.
