I've spent three months debating on whether or not I should get this pin. I live in SE Asia, so shipping is much more expensive compared to the US. Now that it's in my hands, it's absolutely worth the cost for the design and quality alone, especially as someone who almost always has their hair up.
The gold of the pin sparkles as it catches light, and the intertwining snake silhouette adds a level of elegance to an otherwise mundane French twist. Not only that, but it holds my hair securely. I would consider it functional jewelry at this point. I'm excited to wear it over the years, it really looks like it was made to last!

I picked up a hair pin similar to this at a market about 5 years ago and hated wearing it because it would never hold up my hair. I didn't know it was a dupe for anything until the algorithm decided I needed Deborah Pagani advertisements (and for once, I am thankful for the algorithm). This is so good, y'all. Buy the pin! It took me a while to commit, but I finally thought it was worth a shot when I saw the Memorial Day gift-with-purchase deal. Even then, I was annoyed with myself after finalizing my purchase when I thought about how much I had just spent on a hair pin, but I have zero regrets now that I have it in hand and can see the quality and feel the difference in how it stays put in my hair. I now have my eye on a few other styles of different colors and sizes so that I can have a variety to look put together and polished with little to no effort every day. If you had told me a week ago that I was planning on tossing my beloved claw clips and spending over $400 on DP hair pins with zero qualms, I would not have believed you, but here I am.
