In the '90s, Deborah Pagani followed her dream from Jersey to the heart of Manhattan. She attended beauty school and quickly became a renowned colorist immersed in the glamorous world of high-end salons, working with icons like Prince and Cindy Lauper.
But the beauty industry had other plans for her. In the midst of coloring the city's elite, Deborah found her creative spark in fine jewelry. Inspired by a cherished family heirloom—a symbol that had held her heart since childhood, she designed her first jewelry collection.
Not long there after, motherhood beckoned, and with it came the inspiration to embark on a new path. It was during this time that she founded the Deborah Pagani brand, a fine jewelry collection that would go on to adorn the shelves of renowned stores like Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman.
While many suggested creating a more affordable jewelry line, Deborah's vision was clear. She saw an uncharted territory that brought her hair stylist past and her fine jewelry future together—a need for the everyday hair accessory that exuded opulence, mirroring the elegance of fine jewelry and elevating how women style their hair. No longer confined to special occasions, her vision was to bridge the gap.
After two years of relentless testing, perfecting & dedication, the DP hairpin was born—an embodiment of luxury for your everyday look. Since then, the Deborah Pagani brand has continued to elevate, innovate and grow. And there is still much more to come.
